Euro Skim Tour 2024: Exciting Start in Portugal!

We are thrilled to announce the beginning of the 2024 Euro Skim Tour, starting with a spectacular event in Portugal. This season will only feature two stages: the already celebrated stage in Portugal and the upcoming French stage from October 4-6. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the Spanish championship will not be held this year. This led the Euro Skim Tour organizers to wait until the first stage was completed before making decisions and announcing the commencement of the European tour. Athletes aiming to be crowned the 2024 EST Champion must participate in both events, as only competing in one contest will not count towards the 2024 EST Rankings.

During the following weeks, we will post the modified rule book for the two stops of the Euro Skim Tour. This will provide all necessary details and updates for the upcoming event.

International Skimboard – Ocean Spirit Santa Cruz 2024

On July 22, the Skimboard Master Class brought a lot of learning and technical evolution to all participants. With around 12 beginners and 10 advanced participants, the athletes had the opportunity to improve with great specialists in the field: Hugo Santos, Pipa Pinto, and Marcos Casteluber.

The conditions on the first day were epic, and all the competitors—men, women, and children—showed an exceptionally high level of skimboarding, with Ale Montañés and Ricardo Días standing out, as they came first in all their heats up to the final round.

It was an epic battle, as it is every year at this event, which the entire audience present at Ocean Spirit, as well as everyone watching live on YouTube, was able to enjoy.

The grand final of the International Skimboard brought plenty of action and wind, but the competition still shone brightly! The finals were thrilling and marked the end of an unforgettable edition, with the award ceremony concluding the event.

Santa Cruz beach provided an ideal backdrop for the event, with its stunning coastline and welcoming atmosphere. The weather conditions were challenging yet exhilarating, with wind adding an extra element of difficulty for the competitors. Despite this, the athletes showed great resilience and skill, impressing the crowds who gathered to support them throughout the weekend. The positive attitude and camaraderie among the participants and spectators made the event truly special.
